The little Pyrite Statue, measures 5/8" high. The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide. This mineral's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. The stone has been mounted on a base, and would be perfect on that 1:12 Scale miniature end table, mantle or even on a pedestal by itself.
